Lubi Barre is a writer of poetry and creative non-fiction short stories. Her story Goodbye is in the anthology book My Old Man published by Cannongate. She co-organizes the monthly reading series AHAB and well as the quarterly international reading series Hafenlesung. She is a member of the residency Writers Room, a yearly contributor to the BBC Weekender, and is currently working on a short story collection.
Her poetry and stories deal with identity, family, multiculturalism, and the details of human lives.
She lives in Hamburg.
