Till Wyler von Ballmoos (*1979 in Bern, Switzerland) is a performer, musician and director. He studied theater at the University of Bern. In 2004 he graduated from the Bern University of the Arts with a concert diploma for violoncello. In 2006-2011 he studied directing for theater and musical theater at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich. His play developments and music theater projects have been performed at the Munich Biennale, the Stadttheater Bern, the Stadttheater Münster and the Gare Du Nord Basel, among others. He develops stagings and performances at the interfaces of music, language and body. Central to his work is the search for aesthetic, performative translations of fragile moments and fragile political situations. The resulting performances are hybrids of art installation, performance and music theater and are conceived as multiperspectival, participatory, processual and discursive dispositif - as collaborative-social sculpture.
