Swenja Janning is an art historian and classical archaeologist. After working for a long time as a curator for the Berlin State Museums in the German capital, she has been in charge of the castles of Vischering in Lüdinghausen and Kolvenburg in Billerbeck since 2017 as cultural officer for the district of Coesfeld. At Burg Vischering, she was initially primarily responsible for the new conception of the permanent exhibition, including media design. Today, she is not only responsible for the special exhibition planning of both houses, but also for the planning of the cultural program and strategic development.
