Sven Björn Popp

Sven Björn Popp was born in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1991. He studied theater studies and comparative literature at the Freie Universität Berlin and has been working as a freelance dramaturge, author, and multimedia artist since 2011. In 2014 he was a fellow of the Dramaturgische Gesellschaft as well as a fellow at the Kampnagel Summer Festival in Hamburg and in 2018 at Travers in Copenhagen. His research focuses on the intersections of hypertextuality, digitalization, queer subculture, and postdramatic storytelling.
