Stella Maria Adorf (1963 in Ticino) grew up in Munich in a family of actors. After her acting and jazz singing training and first TV and theater experiences, she completed her theater and literature studies at the LMU Munich. For many years she belonged to permanent acting ensembles, since 2002 she has been working as a freelancer. She has made guest appearances on many German stages and has also made a name for herself as a speaker. In recent years she has increasingly turned to project work. With the group "Theater.Land" she regularly developed free theater productions, among others about Beat Fae's novel Summer in Brandenburg. On TV, she was most recently seen as Bertolt Brecht's mother in Heinrich Breloer's two-parter Brecht.
Vom Gärtnern und Töten, based on Lukas Bärfuß's novel
Hundert Tage*, is her first collaboration with director Till Wyler von Ballmoos.
