Sonja vom Brocke, born 1980 in Hagen, is a poet, writes essays and translates from English. She collaborates with artists and musicians, most recently with the band Periode and the painter Kamilla Bischof.
Sonja vom Brocke published the volumes Ohne Tiere (Verlag H+K, Berlin 2010) Venice singt (kookbooks, 2015) and Düngerkind (Verlag Peter Engstler, 2018). Among other prizes, she was awarded the Förderpreis Literatur des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen 2016, was a fellow at Raketenstation Hombroich 2017, and received a working fellowship from the Kunststiftung NRW 2019.
