Silvia Rosani (* in Italy) is a composer and musician.

Currently she works mainly with electronic music and software for sound analysis and synthesis. Her pieces are performed by various ensembles internationally, such as Neue Vocalsolisten, ÖENM, Platypus Ensemble and Vocal Arts Stuttgart, directed by Angelika Luz. Silvia Rosani performs with self-designed electronic instruments and her music at international festivals such as Salzburg Biennale and New York City Electroacoustic. She holds a PhD from Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she teaches composition. For several years she has been collaborating with artists from different fields and developing various projects. With the cellist Esther Saladin and the visual artist Inês Rebelo, she developed the project White Masks, in which they explore the themes of loss and change, and which has already won several awards.

In 2012 Silvia Rosani will participate in a residency of the Center for New Media Culture in Riga.
