Sandra Gugić

Sandra Gugić is a poet, essayist and novelist who has lived in Vienna, Berlin and Tel Aviv-Jaffa. She studied at the University of Applied Arts and the Leipzig Literature Institute. She has received numerous prizes for her literary work, most recently the Caroline Schlegel Prize for Essay Writing. Her debut novel Astronauten was published by C.H. Beck in 2015, followed by her second novel Zorn und Stille by Hoffmann und Campe Verlag in 2020. Her poetry debut Protokolle der Gegenwart (2019) and the essay FLÜSTERN (2022) were published by Verlagshaus Berlin - the bilingual volume DAS DAZWISCHEN / THE IN BETWEEN will follow in 2024, a lyrical-essayistic dialogue with the authors Lily Shehady and Sarah Sassoon, which was written in Israel.
