Rita Morrien is Professor at the Institute for German Studies and Comparative Literature/University of Paderborn. She studied German language and literature, communication sciences and politics in Münster, Munich and Freiburg; 1995 doctorate on Marlen Haushofer, Ingeborg Bachmann and Unica Zürn, 2000 habilitation at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg on Sense and Sensuality. The female body in German literature of the bourgeois era. Together with sculptor Christoph Otto Hetzel, she initiated and conceived the intermedial art project Mit Droste im Glashaus - 21 artists cast glances (4/2018-9/2019).
