Mustafa Zekirov

Mustafa Zekirov was born in Macedonia. From 1978 to 1980 he studied at the Philosophical University in Skopje. Due to the war in the former Yugoslavia, he came to Germany in 1990, where he worked as an actor with Roberto Culi at the North Rhine-Westphalian Roma theater Pralipe. Today Mustafa Zekirov works as a musician and composer for various theater projects in Europe. He draws inspiration from both classical-traditional and contemporary Roma music.
