Martina Wagner-Egelhaaf is Professor of Modern German Literature with a focus on Modern and Contemporary Literature at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Her research interests include German literature from the 18th to the 21st century, literary theory/general literary studies, rhetoric, autobiography and autofiction, literature and law, and the relationship between literature, religion, and politics. She has held numerous visiting professorships, including in the United States, China, and Japan.
