Kübra Gümüşay is an author and speaker. She studied political science in Hamburg and London and writes and speaks on the topics of the Internet, politics, feminism & racism. Her book Language & Being was published by Hanser Berlin in spring 2020 and has since been a bestseller. She is co-founder of eeden, a feminist co-creation space in Hamburg, as well as numerous campaigns and associations - including the anti-racism campaign #SchauHin, the feminist alliance #ausnahmslos and the campaign Organized Love. She is a Fellow of the Progressive Center and an Associate Expert at the Center for Intersectional Justice. In 2018, Forbes magazine ranked her among the top 30 under 30 in Europe in media and marketing.
