Hatice Açıkgöz is an Author, journalist, and artist. Hatice writes about her intersectional experiences as a queer woman of color (prose, poetry, essays) and focuses on the intersection of her writing with anti-racist and queer activism.
Hatice Açıkgöz lives in Hamburg and works as a freelance author, artist and editor. She has already published in several literary magazines such as literarische diverse, schnipsel, transcodiert. In 2022 her short story ein oktopus hat drei herzen [octopus has three hearts] was published by Sukultur publishing house. In march 2023 the text collection fancy immigrant: ein poetisches tagebuch [fancy immigrant: a poetic diary] will be published by w_Orten & meer publishing house.
