Hartmut Kracht is a musician and for some years now has again been occupied with his initial instrument, the electric guitar, which he plays in his own trio and in the quartet of singer and author Eva Kurowski, among others.
In 1999 his solo CD Kontrabass pur was released. Hartmut Kracht became known through the Engstfeld-Weiss-Quartett, La Voce, through the group Rism and through projects of the saxophonist Jan Klare (Das böse Ding, Supernova, Autofab and The Dorf), which were awarded several times and documented on numerous CDs.
