Florian Werner, born in Berlin in 1971, writes narrative nonfiction and prose, plays soccer on the German national author's team, teaches as a guest lecturer at various universities, and works for radio.
His books, including The Cow. Leben, Werk und Wirkung (Nagel & Kimche 2009), have been translated into English, Spanish, and Japanese, among other languages, and have won several awards.
