Amanda Lee Koe’s first short story collection, Ministry of Moral Panic (2013), won the Singapore Literature Prize and was shortlisted for the Haus der Kulturen der Welt’s International Literature Prize as well as the Frankfurt Book Fair’s LiBeratur Prize. Her debut novel, Delayed Rays of A Star (2019), won the Henfield Prize. It was named a Best Book of the year by NPR. Both books have been translated into German by Zoë Beck, and published by Culturbooks: Ministerium für Öffentliche Erregung and Die Letzten Strahlen Eines Sterns. She is currently a DAAD Artist-in-Residence in Berlin.
