Alina Herbing (*1984, Lübeck) is a writer and teaches literary writing at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. Alina Herbing studied German language and literature and history in Greifswald, modern German literature in Berlin, and creative writing, cultural journalism, and literary writing in Hildesheim. Today she lives in Berlin and Cologne. For her debut novel Niemand ist bei den Kälbern she received, among others, the Friedrich-Hölderlin-Förderpreis of the city of Bad Homburg.
