The film HÄNDE was created as part of class matters (still), choreographer Verena Brakonier’s ongoing artistic research on the topic of classism. Classism refers to discrimination based on socio-economic origin or position in society and thus means the systematic cutting off of resources such as money, education, culture, recognition and participation. The research is accompanied by the dramaturge and theater maker Greta Granderath. In conversation with Mascha Jacobs, they show us various materials and links that allow us to participate in the making of the film and the artistic debate.
