In a new edition of the event series How We Inherit Trauma, Studio Marshmallow looks at the impact of right-wing terrorist attacks. What does respectful commemoration look like? What role do political, civil society and artistic processes have to play here and what can successful cooperation look like?
Together with Ulf Aminde, Kutlu Yurtseven and Bengü Kocatürk-Schuster, the studio will talk about Keupstraße in Cologne as a place of resistance and (post)migration and about the arson attack in Duisburg. The topic will also be the various struggles that need to be fought in order to turn these places into critical places of learning and remembrance.
