‘Equal political rights for all living beings!’ demands the Club Real collective.
From summer 2025, a citizens' council will be formed at Burg Hülshoff for all living beings in the castle park. The council will decide what needs to change so that everyone can live well. The organism democracy that is emerging here is not about the survival of the best adapted, but about a good life for all in a community of living beings with equal rights.
In a preparatory workshop, people will take on the perspectives of living creatures from the park for the first time, talk about their life situations and develop topics and ideas for the future in the park. In the workshop, you can choose a species from the current list of citizens and become their ambassador. The ambassadors of the living creatures work together to develop content and a basis for decision-making for the citizens' council of Burg Hülshoff. Will the council decide, for example, that the park should become swampier to support bog ants and sundew? Or that the water in the moat should be filtered with zebra mussels to bring back eels and carp?
