What is a genius and if so, how many? On October 15, we celebrate collective writing for one day. Together with the feminist author collective Anna Kpok.
Anna Kpok will present the project Horror Vacui. From 3 p.m. to midnight, a total of fifteen artists will transform the Rüschhaus into a walk-in book: in each room there will be installations, performances and concerts to discover.
The authors' collective around Anna Kpok has been working on the Horror Vacui project for almost three years. A total of seven women meet regularly for this project. They write and work on texts together. There is no concrete goal or fixed guidelines, just a few rules and an honest need to tell stories. The authors have now invited artists to deal with the resulting text. With a variety of contributions, they are rewriting the spaces of the Rüschhaus.
On tours, the artists and authors answer questions and tell you more about the background of their work. You can try out collective writing for yourself in workshops and writing games. And, of course, the book on the project will be available.
From 7 p.m. DJ Death (Bochum) and Be Lá (Cologne) will be playing in the Rüschhaus-Tenne, creating a party atmosphere. At the end of the evening, a shuttle bus will take you back to the city and to Münster's main railway station.
