Ulrich Schamoni's ultimate Christmas home movie about Münster has been an integral part of the filmclub Christmas programme at the Schloßtheater for over 25 years.
Copywriter Hannes Lücke is on his way to the family Christmas ritual in his hometown of Münster. Just like every year - only one thing is different this time: the intact bourgeois world is showing cracks, the married Hannes takes his young girlfriend Inge with him and puts her up in a hotel. According to Hannes' instructions, Inge is not supposed to be seen anywhere near him. But Inge throws a spanner in the works for him and his festive plans between classmates, family and girlfriend.
