In the third part of the digital series Cover Me, the musician Nadine Finsterbusch and the writer Ralph Tharayil dedicate themselves to the song Big in Japan by the Münster band Alphaville.
This song, released in 1984, deals with the delusional drug-induced madness of a couple who imagines that they have made it big in far-off Japan. Alphaville may not have made it to Japan, but it did make it onto the Billboard Charts in the United States of America, where they bumped Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Relax! from the number 1 spot.
